1. Who We Are
BathroomBuddy is operated by Techneighbors LLC, a Texas-based company. BathroomBuddy may be accessed from inside or outside the United States, but the service is operated from the United States.

2. What BathroomBuddy Does
BathroomBuddy helps users search for nearby bathrooms, view bathroom locations on a map, navigate to bathroom locations, rate and review bathrooms, report inaccurate information, and filter bathrooms based on features that may matter to them.
BathroomBuddy may include information such as:
- Bathroom location
- Cleanliness ratings
- User reviews
- Accessibility-related features
- Family-friendly features
- Gender-neutral bathroom availability
- Adult changing station availability
- Stall, sink, lock, hours, or amenity information
- Other user-submitted bathroom details
BathroomBuddy does not guarantee that any bathroom is open, clean, safe, accessible, public, available, accurately described, or suitable for any particular need.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use BathroomBuddy.
If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use BathroomBuddy with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
BathroomBuddy is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
4. Accounts and Login
You may use certain BathroomBuddy features by creating or connecting an account. BathroomBuddy may support login through email, Google, Apple, or other supported authentication methods.
When you create or connect an account, we may collect and store:
- Name or display name
- Username, if applicable
- Email address
- Authentication provider identifier
- Account creation and login metadata
- Bathroom search preferences saved to your account
- Reviews, ratings, submissions, and reports you provide
You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity that occurs through your account.
You agree not to impersonate another person, provide false account information, use another person's account without permission, or attempt to bypass BathroomBuddy's security controls.
5. Bathroom Preferences Are Not Medical Records
BathroomBuddy may let you save bathroom preferences to make the app more useful. These preferences may include things like accessible stalls, gender-neutral bathrooms, adult changing stations, family-friendly bathrooms, or other bathroom features.
BathroomBuddy does not ask you to provide medical diagnoses, medical conditions, disability status, health records, treatment information, or other medical history.
Do not submit medical information through reviews, reports, usernames, or support requests unless you understand that doing so is voluntary and may be processed as part of operating or responding to your request.
6. Location Data
BathroomBuddy uses location data to help you find bathrooms near you.
Depending on how you use the app, we may process:
- Your current location when you allow location access
- Bathroom search location or map area
- Location coordinates associated with bathroom listings
- Location coordinates submitted by users for bathroom locations
- Approximate location data derived from technical information such as IP address
BathroomBuddy does not track your location in the background when the app is closed or not actively being used.
BathroomBuddy may log bathroom searches, including search location, to operate the service, improve results, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, and understand how the app is used.
You can control device-level location permissions through your browser, iOS, or Android settings. Some features may not work properly if location access is disabled.
7. Public Bathroom Listings and Business Locations
BathroomBuddy may include bathroom locations based on publicly available information, user submissions, user reports, map data, or other lawful sources.
A bathroom or business appearing in BathroomBuddy does not mean that the business, property owner, government entity, venue, or organization sponsors, endorses, approves, manages, or is affiliated with BathroomBuddy.
BathroomBuddy does not encourage trespassing, entering restricted areas, violating posted rules, harassing employees, misrepresenting yourself, or accessing bathrooms that are not legally or safely available to you.
If you are a business, property owner, government entity, or authorized representative and believe a listing is inaccurate, restricted, private, unsafe, or should be corrected, contact us at [email protected]. We may review, correct, limit, remove, or preserve listings at our discretion.
8. User Content
BathroomBuddy may allow users to submit ratings, reviews, bathroom location information, feature information, correction reports, accessibility details, and other text-based content.
BathroomBuddy does not allow photo uploads at this time.
Some user content may be public. This may include reviews, ratings, bathroom submissions, feature reports, and username or display name depending on the feature and user settings available at the time.
You are responsible for the content you submit. You agree that your content will be truthful to the best of your knowledge and will not violate these Terms or the rights of others.
9. License to User Content
You keep ownership of content you submit to BathroomBuddy.
By submitting content, you give Techneighbors LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to use, host, store, reproduce, display, publish, modify, edit, moderate, translate, distribute, and create derivative works from your content for purposes related to operating, improving, promoting, protecting, and providing BathroomBuddy.
This license allows us to display reviews, update bathroom listings, improve search results, moderate content, investigate abuse, and preserve useful bathroom information even if an account is later deleted or deactivated.
When account deletion functionality is added, BathroomBuddy may retain anonymized or de-identified content such as reviews, ratings, reports, and bathroom submissions so the service continues to work for other users.
10. Content Moderation
BathroomBuddy may moderate content during submission, after submission, through automated screening, through manual review, or after user reports.
We may remove, edit, reject, hide, limit, or investigate content that we believe is inaccurate, abusive, unlawful, misleading, spammy, harmful, offensive, irrelevant, or inconsistent with the purpose of BathroomBuddy.
We do not guarantee that all content will be reviewed before it appears, and we do not guarantee that all inaccurate or inappropriate content will be immediately removed.
11. Acceptable Use Rules
You agree not to use BathroomBuddy to:
- Submit false, misleading, defamatory, abusive, hateful, obscene, threatening, or harassing content
- Doxx, expose, or target private individuals
- Post private contact information, employee names, personal addresses, or other sensitive personal details about others
- Encourage trespassing, vandalism, harassment, theft, unsafe conduct, or illegal activity
- Submit bathroom listings for private homes or restricted/private spaces unless clearly authorized and appropriate
- Interfere with BathroomBuddy's systems, security, data, APIs, or infrastructure
- Scrape, copy, or bulk-extract BathroomBuddy data without permission
- Reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or abuse the service
- Use bots, automated submissions, fake accounts, or review manipulation
- Upload or submit malware, harmful code, or spam
- Violate any law, regulation, third-party right, or platform rule
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
12. No Emergency, Medical, Safety, or Accessibility Guarantee
BathroomBuddy is an informational tool. It is not a medical service, emergency service, safety service, accessibility certification service, or guarantee of bathroom access.
BathroomBuddy does not guarantee that any bathroom will be:
- Open
- Available
- Clean
- Safe
- Stocked
- Wheelchair accessible
- ADA compliant
- Gender-neutral
- Family-friendly
- Equipped with an adult changing station
- Suitable for a medical, digestive, mobility, pregnancy, disability, childcare, work, or travel need
If you are experiencing an emergency, contact emergency services or seek appropriate help.
13. Third-Party Services
BathroomBuddy uses third-party services to operate, secure, analyze, and improve the app. These may include:
- Supabase for backend/database services
- Internal authentication services operated by or for Techneighbors LLC
- Google and Apple for supported login methods
- Mapbox for location-related services
- Google Maps for map rendering and navigation-related features
- Google Analytics for analytics
- Sentry for error tracking and crash reporting
- Hosting, infrastructure, monitoring, security, and development service providers
Third-party services may process data according to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control.
14. Fees, Ads, and Future Subscriptions
BathroomBuddy is free at launch.
In the future, BathroomBuddy may add advertising, sponsored features, paid subscriptions, premium features, or paid plans such as an ad-free subscription.
If we add paid features, subscriptions, or advertising partners, we will update these Terms and/or our privacy disclosures as appropriate.
Purchases made through Apple, Google, or another app store may also be subject to that store's payment terms, refund rules, and subscription management rules.

BathroomBuddy collects limited personal information needed to operate the app.
We may collect:

- Current location when you allow location access

- Map area or nearby-search coordinates

- Accessibility-related bathroom feature preferences
- Family, changing-station, stall, privacy, or restroom-feature preferences
These preferences help users find bathrooms that better match what they are looking for. BathroomBuddy does not ask users to provide medical diagnoses, health conditions, or medical records.

19. Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide BathroomBuddy, maintain accounts, operate the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our Terms, prevent abuse, and improve the app.
Bathroom search logs, analytics data, error logs, and moderation records may be retained for operational, security, product improvement, and abuse-prevention purposes.
User-submitted bathroom information, reviews, ratings, and reports may be retained even after an account is closed, removed, or deleted if the content has been anonymized, de-identified, aggregated, or is needed to preserve useful bathroom information for the community.
20. Account Deletion and Privacy Requests
BathroomBuddy does not currently offer in-app account deletion.
You may request account deletion, access, correction, or other privacy assistance by contacting [email protected].
When account deletion functionality is added, BathroomBuddy may retain anonymized or de-identified reviews, ratings, reports, and bathroom submissions.
We may need to verify your identity before responding to certain requests. We may also retain information where allowed or required by law, including for security, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and enforcement of these Terms.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a copy of, or opt out of certain uses of your personal information. We will respond to valid privacy requests as required by applicable law.
21. Security
We use reasonable technical, organizational, and administrative measures designed to protect BathroomBuddy and the data we process.
No system is perfectly secure. We cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, data loss, misuse, or security incidents will never occur.
You can help protect your account by using secure login methods, protecting your device, and notifying us promptly if you believe your account or data has been compromised.
22. International Users
BathroomBuddy is operated from the United States. If you access BathroomBuddy from outside the United States, you understand that your data may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate.
Data protection laws may differ from the laws where you live. By using BathroomBuddy, you understand that your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other applicable locations.
23. Children's Privacy
BathroomBuddy is not intended for children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to BathroomBuddy, contact us at [email protected] and we will review the issue.
Data Usage Terms
24. BathroomBuddy Data
BathroomBuddy data includes bathroom listings, bathroom features, ratings, reviews, reports, user submissions, app-generated search data, map-related data, and other information available through the service.
BathroomBuddy data may contain public information, user-submitted information, third-party map information, and information generated or processed by BathroomBuddy.
You may use BathroomBuddy data only through normal app functionality unless we give you written permission.
25. No Bulk Extraction or Scraping
You may not scrape, crawl, export, harvest, copy, reproduce, resell, repackage, train models on, or bulk-extract BathroomBuddy data without written permission from Techneighbors LLC.
This restriction applies whether the data is accessed through the website, mobile app, APIs, network requests, screenshots, automated tools, or any other method.
26. Public Information and Corrections
BathroomBuddy may display bathroom-related information based on publicly available sources, map data, user submissions, and community reports.
If you believe information is inaccurate, outdated, private, restricted, unsafe, misleading, or otherwise inappropriate, contact us at [email protected] or use the in-app reporting tools where available.
We may review and respond to correction or removal requests at our discretion and as required by applicable law.
Legal Terms
27. Ownership
BathroomBuddy, including the app, website, software, design, branding, logos, code, databases, content structure, and related intellectual property, is owned by Techneighbors LLC or its licensors.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from BathroomBuddy except as allowed by law or with written permission.
28. App Store Terms
If you download BathroomBuddy through Apple's App Store, Google Play, or another app store, your use of the app may also be subject to that store's terms, policies, payment rules, and subscription rules.
The app store provider is not responsible for providing support for BathroomBuddy unless required by applicable app store terms.
29. Termination
We may suspend, limit, or terminate access to BathroomBuddy at any time if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, abused the service, submitted harmful content, violated the rights of others, or used BathroomBuddy in a way that could harm users, businesses, Techneighbors LLC, or the public.
You may stop using BathroomBuddy at any time.
30. Disclaimers
BathroomBuddy is provided on an as is and as available basis.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Techneighbors LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, availability, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted operation.
BathroomBuddy does not guarantee that listings, ratings, reviews, bathroom features, accessibility details, hours, locations, maps, directions, or user submissions are accurate, current, complete, safe, or reliable.
31. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Techneighbors LLC and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, vendors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, service interruption, personal injury, property damage, loss of goodwill, or other damages arising from or related to your use of BathroomBuddy.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Techneighbors LLC's total liability for any claim related to BathroomBuddy will not exceed the greater of:
- The amount you paid to BathroomBuddy in the 12 months before the claim
- $100
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some limitations may not apply to you.
32. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Techneighbors LLC and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, vendors, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from or related to:
- Your use or misuse of BathroomBuddy
- Your user content
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of law
- Your violation of another person's rights
- Your inaccurate, misleading, unlawful, or harmful submissions
33. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
If a dispute is not resolved informally, it will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Texas, unless applicable law requires a different forum.
34. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms, Privacy Statement, and Data Usage Terms from time to time.
When we make changes, we will update the Last Updated date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice through the app, website, email, or other reasonable means.
Your continued use of BathroomBuddy after changes become effective means you accept the updated terms.

36. Plain-English Summary
